Medisure Access works to reduce the length of absence by providing employees with access to private medical treatment where there is a real cost justification. In doing so it has a direct impact on your organisation's costs.

We advocate and respond to early intervention triggers, ensuring common causes of long-term absence such as stress and musculoskeletal disorders are identified and treated as soon as possible, thus significantly reducing the risk of their becoming long term or chronic conditions.

How Medisure Access Works

The starting point for Medisure Access is a review of the main causes of absence, absence reporting procedures and the way your organisation accounts for absence costs.

We then agree a framework for your organisation to evaluate, at the earliest opportunity, the benefits of funding the cost of private treatment when it can be clearly demonstrated that this will produce savings. Decisions are taken on a case-by-case basis and employers are advised in advance of the savings which will be achieved from each stage of any intervention.

Medisure has a nationwide database of healthcare providers covering all disciplines in both physical and mental health. The Medisure Musculoskeletal Network provides both physiotherapy and rehabilitation services, ensuring your employees are treated and returned to work with the functionality required for their role.

Our procedures meet all legislative and clinical guidelines. Through agreed reporting arrangements, we ensure employers receive concise and relevant information regarding the employee's capability to return to work
